Home Finances — my new personal project

I have added a new section to the site — My projects. It is the place for things I build in my free time, outside of client and company work. The first one is Home Finances.

Home Finances is a web application for tracking personal and household finances. It shows where the money goes, helps plan a budget and keeps accounts, bills and currencies under control. It is completely free, and your data stays private.

What it can do:

• income and expense tracking with an instant balance;
• cash, cards and savings in one overview;
• a budget with limits per category;
• bills with due dates and a payment calendar;
• multiple currencies with automatically updated rates;
• reports and charts, CSV export;
• four languages, light and dark themes, works on phone, tablet and desktop.

The application is built with Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, Hotwire and Tailwind CSS.
